Not at all. All of our classes cater to everyone from those who have never put on a pair of gloves to those who have competed for years. Our coaches pride themselves on assisting those new to the sport.

Absolutely not. We have dedicated sparring classes for those who want full contact but all of our other classes are structured for fitness and technique.

To participate in sparring classes you will have to meet the standards set by your coach for not only your safety but also the safety of others. These classes are conducted in a fully controlled environment however these classes are strictly “invite only” so please ensure that you see your coach before participating. 

Definitely. We give all those who train at JD’s the opportunity to represent the club and encourage everyone from beginners to advanced to participate.

Provided you have been cleared by your GP to train and your coach is aware of any injuries that may impact your training, there should be no reason why you still can’t train. Always train at your own pace and notify your Coach of any injuries at the  beginning of every class

Absolutely. If you want to take your training to the next level please come in and speak to any one of our staff members to find out more. Ranging from BJJ, Muay Thai, Boxing, Mixed Martial Arts to Wrestling, we pride ourselves on helping you achieve your goals whether it is class based or in a one on one personal training setting.

All memberships can be put on hold for a certain period annually. We  simply require it in writing either at front desk or via email.
