If you are looking to increase fitness, lose weight, tone up or simply work on technique, then come check out our boxing classes at John Donehue Jiu Jitsu & MMA. Head Coach Franco Valenzuela’s classes cater to all levels of experience and fitness making this class one of the most popular at our club.

Each class consists of technical training and instruction, some pad or bag work, with some conditioning drills mixed in throughout the class. This class is a great cardiovascular workout for men, women and teens – it is a fun and challenging class.

Head Boxing Coach

Franco specialises in boxing related strength and conditioning, functional training and H.I.I.T. He trains groups as well and one-on-one from beginners to advanced, focusing on boxing and sparring technique.

Coach Franco has been trained and guided by renowned trainer Peter Hatton and has adopted some of the best training techniques in the sport of boxing. He has built up his reputation as a professional trainer over the years and with his fighting experience can pass on that knowledge to his students regardless of their goals.

SPECIALISED TRAINING

Coach Franco specialises in boxing related strength & conditioning, functional training & H.I.I.T. He trains groups, and one-on-one (beginners to advanced), focusing on box & sparring technique.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Current professional boxer with 10 years experience

10 amateur bouts 2 x VABL state title holder

6 professional bouts (3 wins, 2 losses, 1 draw)

1 x state title contender with a total of 36 rounds fought

2014 Australian Boxing Federation fight of the year award
